Welcome
Neath's first Food & Drink festival titillated the taste buds of thousands of food lovers. Connosisseurs from all over South Wales descended on the town to tuck into the tasty delights on offer in Neath Port Talbot.
Organised by Neath Port Talbot Council, The Town Centre Manager, Neath Town Centre Communities First and Neath Town Council in conjunction with Ian and Sian Hindle, of locally based company La Creme Patisserie, the event has well and truly put Neath on the food festival map.
Ian said his phone has been ringing constantly since the event with messages of congratulations.
39 traders took part in the event, with stalls lining the pedestrian area throughout Neath town centre. A number of traders from the Victorian Indoor Market selling fruit and vegetables, welsh cakes, laverbread and cockles, sausages, bacon, cheeses and cooked meats, faggots and peas, herbs, vegetables and bulbs took part.
