It's so encouraging to read all of the positive comments that have been posted on this page. This was just the sort of reaction that the Communities First Team had hoped for when we became involved in organising this event. We couldn't have asked for more from our team of willing and hardworking volunteers and all our community members who involved themselves in all of the different activities taking place throughout the town. A big thanks to our partners including The Town Council, The Town Centre Manager, Bay Radio,RSVP and the Fire Service for supporting the activities. It was a day to remember that showcased the very best that Neath has to offer!

Congratulations on a very good day. Despite the weather I enjoyed myself enormously and it was nice to see many local traders out in force. I hope this is the first of many. Well done.

Thrilled to hear of the positive response to the food festival. Well done to you and sian for ll your hard work in organising and carrying it all off on the day.
As regards St.Davids, Rector, Roger and I were thrilled and excited to be part of the Festival and to see our wonderful church (know we are biased1) being well used and enjoyed by so many people of the town. Quite a lot of folk, who have always lived in or near Neath, had never been inside St.Davids's. The Food festival brought so many people to Neath and gave everyone a boost as well as boosting trade for local produce and businesses (our church shop took £50).
The weather did not dampen the brightness the festival achieved.

It was a good day trading as we ran out of quite a few lines. Great success all round by the sounds of things.

Well worth braving the weather for what turned out to be a really great day. Very busy with plenty of people buying, rather than just browsing.

Thank you so much for having the vision and determination t odrive this whole project through to an amazing end result. Saturday was a fantastic showcase for our town, everybody was so positive it really was mind blowing. Our rugby players enjoyed going around and chatting to people and of course helping Alderman Davies Church in Wales Primary school promote Primestarts healthy cookbook.

The food festival was a fantastic way to attract a large audience that were interested in finding out more about local produce and how they can eat healthly - particularly on a budget!
It is an excellent, informal platform from which we can promote healthy living messages to local people.

A superb day! Ian and his team created a festival which really emphasises what a great place Neath is. The wide range of local producers and the obvious desire of the community to support them was excellent.

I hadn't been to Neath in 30 years until I saw the advert for the food festival. It has opened my eyes to what a great town it is and I will definately come back.

I would like to congratulate whoever organised the neath food festival and especially the demonstrations that were held in St.Davids church. More ideas on these lines are what is neeeded to bring people to see our fine town.

We were not expecting this to be much of a show as it was the first one we have attended in the area. We could not believe that we were sold out by 3pm especially as the weather was so damp. Well done for organising such a great event.
